Eco news is in a tizzy over E6PR! If you haven't heard, Saltwater Brewery in Delray Beach, Florida has joined forces with the startup E6PR, short for Eco 6 Pack Rings.
E6PR has developed an eco-friendly six pack ring created from the waste of compostable materials. The end goal is to end plastic rings that are seriously harmful. Plastic never completely breaks down, eventually creating microplastics in the environment that are eaten by animals.
What makes E6PR different is that these rings degrade in days, rather than living forever in a landfill. No toxic chemicals are used in the making of the ring's therefore, there is no threat to the land, water, or creatures after is degrades.
Saltwater Brewery featured its "Screamin' Reels IPA" in the environmentally friendly rings where it can be purchased in South Florida stores such as Publix, Total Wine, Whole Foods, and more!
