Giving Tuesday is a global movement aimed at - you guessed it! - giving back. Organizations and individuals raise money, raise awareness, and raise their voices for causes around the world. People effected by medical ailments have given back to hospitals. Those shocked by the social injustice in other parts of the world have donated to women and children organizations. A large part of Giving Tuesday affects the animals.
The Humane Society of the United States has created an event where one donation helps the Animal Rescue Team. This group travels for natural disasters, dismantles puppy mills, anything to rescue neglected or poorly treated animals.
Since this is a global movement, shelters and rescues all over have created event pages for the public to learn more about their efforts in helping animals. There are countless organizations, it might be hard to pick just one!
Start the giving season off right. Giving Tuesday is November 28th this year. Get creative! Make a donation in someone else's name. Pick a day and volunteer with your friends and family. Make it a joint effort and have fun! Giving back and helping others can be fun and makes you feel like the best version of yourself!
